🌿 You’re Invited: Halanayakanahalli Lake Public Consultation
What kind of lake do we want for our community? 💧
Join us for a public consultation to discuss the future of Halanayakanahalli Lake and help shape its Lake Vision Document (LVD).
What is a Lake Vision Document (LVD)?
An LVD is a shared roadmap for the lake’s future. It brings together ideas and concerns around the lake’s conservation, restoration, biodiversity, water quality, public spaces, and long-term management.
Why is your participation important?
A lake is not just for the people living right next to it. It is connected to the larger neighbourhood through water, drainage, biodiversity, and the surrounding environment. Residents, local communities, farmers, lake users, apartment associations, and other stakeholders all have different experiences and perspectives that need to be heard.
This consultation is an opportunity to share your observations, raise concerns, discuss local needs, and help build a vision that reflects the wider community—not just a few voices.
