🌳 Bengaluru has kites circling its metro pillars and monkeys crossing its flyovers, and still, most tech in this city isn’t built for any of them. Samagata Foundation and BLR Design Centre are hosting the Multispecies Hackathon on 12-13 September in Bengaluru - two days for students, researchers, designers, and storytellers to build tools, systems, and stories for a city that shares its streets, trees, and skies with a lot more than just us. Three tracks, real challenges: 🐘Human-Wildlife Coexistence: conflict prevention, corridor design, community tools 🌿Biodiversity: species monitoring, bioacoustics, citizen science 🦋Conservation: restoration, ecosystem storytelling, anti-poaching tech Mentors from ecology, technology, design, and environmental journalism will be building in the room with you, not just judging from the sidelines.
