THIS GANDHI JAYANTI, LET’S CLEAN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD TOGETHER!

This Gandhi Jayanti, residents of Kodathi, Chikkanayakahalli and Hadosiddapura are coming together for a Community Plogging Activity around Hadosiddapura Lake and the surrounding roads.

Let’s step out together, clean our neighbourhood and show what is possible when local residents come together and take ownership of the places we live in.

Date: Friday, October 2
Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Start Point: Main Entry Gate, Godrej Park Retreat

Plogging Routes:
Group 1: Towards Banyan Tree Katte
Group 2: Roads connecting Hadosiddapura Village through the Chikkanahalli–Hadosiddapura Road

Distance: Approximately 0.5–1 km

WHAT WE’LL DO

We’ll begin with a short orientation before heading out for plogging and waste collection.

After the clean-up, we’ll come together for:

Weighing and analysing the waste collected
Group photographs
Fun games on sustainability and the environment
Refreshments
Participation certificates signed by the Panchayat Development Officer (PDO)

WE’LL PROVIDE

Reusable gloves
Masks
Sacks for collecting waste
Refreshments
Water cans will be available for refilling — please carry your own reusable water bottle

Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking and plogging.

Bring your family, friends and neighbours!

Whether you live in an apartment, a gated community, a village or anywhere around Kodathi, Chikkanayakahalli or Hadosiddapura, everyone is welcome.
