This month’s Bengaluru Climate Party is all about that.

Every lake, park or landfill in BLR is ultimately shaped by decisions — about land, money, livelihoods, public interest and who gets a say! And there are incredible stories of ordinary citizens who figured out where & how to intervene to positively change the course of decisions.

This month, we’re bringing together 4 people who know the system from the inside to unpack specific things every citizen should know!

Bhargavi Rao will take us through powerful stories from Mavallipura, Challakere & Koppal to show how decisions were made to change their course.

V RamPrasad, Founder of Friends of Lakes, will share decades of practical experience protecting Bengaluru’s lakes & what it takes for concern → action → institutional change.

Chitra, an RTI practitioner will provide is with tha solid toolkit on how to lay your hands on hidden information 👀
